The Canvas or ALEKS Term Dates is the date range for which Canvas or ALEKS assignments will be loaded into the spreadsheet by ALEKS2Canvas Gradebook. If a Canvas or ALEKS assignment’s due date lies within the date range specified here, it will be loaded, if it does not, it will be ignored. This is useful for ignoring Canvas or ALEKS assignments from previous grading terms. Both a start and end date must be specified for ALEKS2Canvas Gradebook to filter by term dates.
To enter date values into the Settings tab, double click on the fields to display a date picker. If dates are entered manually, they must be in the format “mm/dd/yyyy”
If you are pasting a value directly into the Settings sheet you should always use the Paste Values Only option to preserve the formatting of the cells. To do so, click on the cell you want to insert data, right click, select Paste Special > Values Only. Alternatively you can use the keyboard combination Ctrl+Shift+V (Command+Shift+V on Mac).
