If you are using the spreadsheet for multiple classes/sections/periods, instead of completing the entire setup each time, you can make a copy of the spreadsheet part way through the setup.
The best time to produce your additional copies is after completing the Canvas Settings.
However, each time you make a copy you will still need to complete the steps in the Spreadsheet section of this documentation to grant the appropriate permissions to the spreadsheet and initialize the backend triggers.
If you are starting a new grading term and already have spreadsheets setup for your classes from the previous term, you can make copies of each of your classes’ spreadsheets and complete the following steps in the new spreadsheets:
- Complete the steps in the Spreadsheet section to grant the appropriate permissions to the spreadsheet and initialize the backend triggers.
- In the Khan2Canvas menu select Clear->Clear Assignments
- In the Khan2Canvas menu select Clear->Clear Data
These will initialize the spreadsheet for use and then clear all of the assignment selections, assignment settings, student score settings, Khan Academy data, and Canvas assignment data.
Your roster and settings will remain intact.
