After you have imported data as discussed in Importing Data, assignment lists from Khan Academy and Canvas will be available in the Scores tab of your spreadsheet. For each assignment, you will need to select both a Khan Academy assignment and a Canvas assignment before scores will be populated and scaled. The first (green) dropdown list at the top of each assignment is for selecting a Khan Academy assignment. The second (red) dropdown list is for selecting a Canvas Assignment. After selecting a Canvas assignment, the cells immediately beneath your selection will populate with the number of points the assignment is worth in Canvas and the due date of the assignment in Canvas.
In the Khan Academy dropdown, assignments will have a [Q], [A], [V], or [E] in front of the assignment name. This denotes which type of assignment it is.
- [Q] = Quiz
- [A] = Article
- [V] = Video
- [E] = Exercise
You can limit which types of assignments are loaded in the Khan Academy Settings section.
After selecting both assignments, you will see scores populate for each student underneath the assignment. These scores are the number of points they received on the selected Khan Academy assignment scaled to the number of points the selected Canvas assignment is worth.
